App Malfunctions
The app frequently fails to scan QR codes, verify phone numbers, or process payments, leaving users unable to unlock or end rides. This results in users being stranded and charged for services they cannot use.
I tried to unlock a scooter, but the app wouldn't scan the QR code, leaving me stranded and charged.
Unexpected Charges
Users experience unexpected charges due to issues like rides not ending properly, being charged for non-functional vehicles, or mandatory deposits that are not refunded. This leads to frustration and a perception of being scammed.
I was charged $40 for a ride that wouldn't end, and my deposit wasn't refunded.
Battery Issues
Vehicles often show incorrect battery levels, leading to rides abruptly ending or vehicles being unusable shortly after starting. This creates a significant inconvenience and disrupts users' travel plans.
The bike showed 100% battery but died after a few blocks, leaving me stranded.
Customer Support Problems

Quotes of the week

Hear from some of the most impactful users to drive changes

I had a terrible experience with Veo scooters. Almost every time I tried to scan a scooter to unlock it, it never worked — frustrating and a huge waste of time. The handles are always sticky and dirty, which makes riding uncomfortable and unhygienic. To make matters worse, I was charged for parking in a designated parking zone, even though I didn't leave the scooter unattended or violate any rules. Overall, very disappointed and would not recommend this service.

While at UT Arlington I used these scooters a lot to get across campus quickly and to downtown Arlington. They were a fun experience and the price to use them was great and very just. Am sad they won’t be continuing in Arlington. There were some hiccups I experienced such as lag on the app. It should also be made easier to view the 'no ride zone' map while already on a ride.

I wanted to use a scooter while visiting my brother to go down a long road but the app requires you deposit at least $10. So I walked away and didn’t use it because I’ll only use maybe $2 for the ride and then my leftover deposit will sit there forever. So dumb. We should be able to deposit any amount or pay for a single ride amount. So angry no common sense developers/owners. Lost a potential customer.
