Major Highlights of the Week

Payout Discrepancies
Users are frustrated with payout structures where winnings are split among multiple participants, leading to lower-than-expected returns even when picks are correct. This payout model is perceived as unfair compared to competitors offering fixed odds.
Winning a contest resulted in splitting the prize, yielding only a 1.5X payout instead of the expected 3X.
Verification Issues
The app's verification process is cumbersome, with users experiencing repeated requests for information and difficulties accessing their accounts. This leads to frustration and abandonment of the app.
After verifying my information, I was unable to access my account and had to repeat the process multiple times.
Interface Problems
The app's interface is criticized for being outdated and difficult to navigate, with users struggling to find their leagues and being overwhelmed by unwanted contest promotions. This detracts from the user experience and engagement.
Location Glitches
Users report issues with the app's location services, preventing them from entering contests despite being in eligible areas. This technical glitch results in missed opportunities and dissatisfaction.
Despite enabling location tracking, the app failed to recognize my location, barring me from entering a contest.
Delayed Payouts
There are complaints about delays in processing winnings, with users waiting extended periods for payouts to be reflected in their accounts. This undermines trust in the app's reliability.
I won $120, but hours after the game ended, my winnings still hadn't been credited to my account.
False Advertising
Users feel misled by promotional offers that are not honored, such as sign-up bonuses that are advertised but not provided. This damages the app's credibility and user trust.
Despite seeing a $10 deposit bonus advertised, it was not available upon signing up.

The QuickPicks payouts are terrible. I entered a $100 contest and was matched with others that had already picked all entries correct. This was before my game even started. I ended up getting mine right and got only my money back! I could have lost money if a 4th person got theirs correct. I much prefer the straight up payments for getting them right. Going against others is a money grab in my opinion. I’ll stay away from this site due to this.

Absolutely awful interface for college bball survivor. Looks like they acquired run your pool, which wasn’t a high tech solution, but allowed you to see insights into picks, previous and historically. Site would crash when there were high volumes. If you’re an organizer I would highly suggest looking at all other alternatives before utilizing splash. Really bad experience overall.

Love the survivor contests, I think it’s a game that’s really gonna grow in the dfs industry and splash runs very good contests for it. As for their pickem contests I really enjoy the peer to peer aspect. I see some complaining in the reviews about the payouts being split and that does happen sometimes. However I’ve also gone 2/3,3/4 before and still profited because no one else hit. Still think your overall odds are better on here than underdog and PrizePicks just with some increased uncertainty.
